  “Welcome to the Piaggio Group Vendor Qualification System” Please pay special attention when filling out the information requested General information The vendors of the Piaggio Group are selected through a qualification process aimed at assessing their business, economic, financial, technical and organisational skills in order to determine whether or not to include them in the Group's List of Vendors. Vendors who do business with the Piaggio Group are subject,when needed, to periodic Vendor Rating.The vendor assessments cover all aspects of the contractual relationship. Registration is even easier now thanks to the animated procedure illustrating the steps needed for correct registration. Requirements to start the qualification process Registration with the Register of Companies of the competent Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Crafts or with Trade Associations; Regular payment of social security and welfare contributions for employe according to Italian legislation or the legislation of the country of or Regular payment of taxes and duties according to Italian legislation or the legislation of the country of origin; Not being responsible for making false statements when providing general information on the economic, financial, technical and organisational skills; Not being directly or partly owned by competitors of the Piaggio Group; Not having pending insolvency procedures; For Italian companies, Certificate of non-involvement in Organised Crime. Periodic update of data Companies must undertake to keep the data and information provided when registering always up-to-date directly ensuring that they are updated. The failure to update the data for an extended period of time (over 12 months) automatically entails the need to repeat the qualification procedure and the blocking of purchase orders with the vendor. General rules The main requirement for registration with the Piaggio Group's List of Vendors is the truthfulness of the statements made by the applicant. Receipt of the application for vendor registration with the List entails acceptance of the principles and content set forth in the “Piaggio Group Code of Ethics”. link to code of ethics. Protection of technical and commercial information and compliance with existing regulations are essential features of the processing of data, which the Group comes into the possession of. Requested documents In case of acceptance of the application, the following documents are requested in electronic format so that these can be published in the collaboration area: Certificate of registration with the Chamber of Commerce; Financial statements of the last 3 financial years as duly filed (or financial sheets drafted for internal use) including, when envisaged, the minutes of approval by stockholders, the report of the Board of Directors and, if available, the report of the Board of Auditors. For joint-stock companies the financial statements must include the state of assets and liabilities, income statement and notes. Certification of labour compliance (DURC). Quality, Environmental and Safety Certificates. For Italian companies, Certificate of non-involvement in Organised Crime. Acceptance of general terms of purchase of the Piaggio Group.
